First Community Services, an affiliate of First National Bank Texas, currently has an opening for a Senior Web Developer at the corporate office in Killeen, TX.
This seasoned professional will develop and maintain web based client/server applications and websites to support a wide array of client machine configurations; install, configure and maintain Apache/IIS based Web Server(s) and/or server farm(s); and write code in various languages (PHP, ASP (vbscript/jscript), .Net, C Sharp, Visual Basic.net, TSQL, PLSQL, HTML, DHTML, XML and Java).
Additional Duties: - Write server side tasks in Perl and/or other OS specific (windows scripting, UNIX scripting, etc) scripting language. - Perform analysis of site traffic and may be required to develop custom reports. - Develop complex user interfaces and web-enabling database driven applications. - Conduct unit and system integration testing and support users conducting acceptance testing. - Support all software applications developed by FCS. - Interface with and assist content contributors and update and design Web pages. - May be called upon to install server hardware and lead a team of developers. - Must be on-call 24/7. - Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. - Must possess 6 - 8 years experience developing web applications in a team environment and 3 - 5 years Website (structure and pages) development. - Requires 2 - 6 years in client-server computing and/or object oriented programming (OOP) and 1 - 2 years in site management (meta tags, registration, secure search engine ranking, traffic analysis). - Must have advanced HTML/DHTML, client/server side scripting, MS-SQL/MySQL/Oracle database development/management, Web/Application Server Installation, Configuration, and Administration skills. - Ability to write code in one or more of the following: C/C++, C#, VB.NET, and Java. - Must be familiar with n-tier application development. - Must have extensive knowledge of Visual Studio and experience in software development life cycle (SDLC), Unified Modeling Language (UML), modeling tools, and project management. - Expertise in business requirements analysis, application and database design. - Advanced integration knowledge of applications as well as the ability to develop interfaces between disparate systems. - Analyze business problems, determine requirements and design/implement solutions. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and handle confidential data in a fast-paced environment.
